Mirrix's 25th weave-along 25 just launched, and we're inviting you to join!
Take part in this virtual course and make this gorgeous beaded bracelet that's accessible to every level bead weaver.
This project, called the Rosalie Bracelet, combines two different bead sizes and crystals to make a fun, upscale bracelet that will go with anything.
You can buy similar-style bracelets for upwards of $400. Why not just make your own? This bracelet is the perfect gift, and the kit comes with enough supplies to make two (that means you can keep one and give one away!)
While we love the final product, the joy of this weave-along comes in the weaving. There is something magical about fitting together beads and crystals, especially when you're in the company of others in Mirrix's amazing community.
What's a Weave-Along?
A weave-along is a FREE online course. Claudia Chase and Elena Zuyok of Mirrix Looms will lead participants through a project woven on a loom. Every Sunday, participants will get an email going over what had been worked on the week before and giving instructions and tips for the week ahead. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage with other members of the weave-along via email and social media sites including the Mirrix Facebook Page, Mirrix Facebook Group and Mirrix Ravelry Page. This is a community event!
The Schedule:
December 3rd - 9th: Warping/Weaving
December 10th - 16th: Finishing
What You Need:
-A bead loom. We recommend a Mirrix!
-The Rosalie Bracelet Kit. We highly recommend buying the kit because the weave-along was designed specifically for the materials in the kit. If you decide not to purchase the kit, we cannot offer additional support to help you figure out sett or design, choose materials, etc.
When you join the weave-along you will get a discount code for $10 off of the Rosalie Bracelet Kit or $20 off of the Rosalie Bracelet Kit AND any loom or loom package.
-A bead needles (we love Tulip needles)
-A bead mat or piece of cloth
-A good pair of scissors
-A measuring tape
