25 years ago a stay-at-home mom and artist named Claudia sold the very first Mirrix loom. She had designed the loom for her own needs as a tapestry weaver; portable but with a shedding device, on-loom tension control, variable setts and and the option of a treadle; and soon realized that other weavers were looking for the same things.
Against the odds, Claudia's tiny, niche company has thrived. Earlier this year we opened our very own manufacturing facility and our line of products has grown to nine loom sizes (plus two tall edition looms) and countless accessories.
We are excited to celebrate 25 years this month with all of you, our customers, who have helped to get us here.
