We have been waiting for this moment for what feels like an eternity!

Today, we are thrilled to announce our brand new Mirrix Looms 2026 Ambassadors: Debra Weiss @specksandkeepings, Lauren Chong Sng @abcrags & Yuliya Klochan @yuliyaklochan.


"Inspired by the natural world, I work with organic shapes, colors, and textures in both functional garments and fiber-based structures. My process is slow and intuitive, rooted in techniques like stitching, knotting, appliqué, crocheting, knitting, weaving and layering.


My work is deeply influenced by personal experience. Home, memory, relationships, and the environments I move through. These impressions find their way into fabric—sometimes consciously, sometimes without me realizing until later. The rhythm of making becomes a way of processing and holding these connections."

"Hi there, I'm Lauren, a weaver who is obsessed with her practice.  Come along with me while I try to use up all the yarn in my stash during this lifetime (iykyk!)."

"Yuliya Klochan is a Ukrainian-born artist based in Chicago. She designs modern beadwork using traditional Ukrainian loom weaving. Yuliya strives to create works that center social justice and inclusivity—and tell a story with each image. For materials, Yuliya sources the rare “perfect cylinder” Toho Aiko beads, woven together with strong fishing line. The beads come in iridescent, metallic, matte, frosted, luster, and more finishes. Up to 15,000 of them per piece create unique textures and gleams. If you're in Chicago, you can check out Yuliya's beading at local galleries (listed on her website and Instagram)."
