This collection of beautiful Silk Gima Tape (also called straw silk) is hand-dyed by Claudia Chase, owner and President of Mirrix Looms.
Silk Gima Tape looks like ribbon but is actually a flat yarn made of strands of silk. It starts out stiff and crisp like linen, but softens with use and takes dye beautifully like silk. It can be used for weaving, embroidery, needlepoint; anything where a silk thread can be used.
10 bobbins of 12 yards of each.
The colors in this package are identical to the product photo.
