Loom Description:
Affordability, quality and portability come together like never before in the Saffron Pocket Loom. This loom has one main thing that most other tiny looms are lacking: A tensioning device. That means you can adjust your warp tension after you warp and as you weave. This loom is simple to put together and to warp, can be used to make four-selvedge tapestries (with two ends to finish) and is adjustable in height.
Loom Materials:
The top and bottom beams are made of wood with a non-toxic finish. The threaded rod is made of steel. The combs are made of aluminum.
Included:
One top and one bottom beam with metal combs, one threaded rod, three wing-nuts, four star washers, one cap nut, one plastic cap, written instructions.
Additional Information:
What can you weave on this loom? Fiber (Beads can also be used as described here, but this loom was designed primarily for tapestry.)
Positioning: Horizontal on a lap or table or upright with The Chloe Loom Stand for The Saffron Pocket Loom
Shedding Device: No. There is a shed comb made specifically for this loom, however: Shed Comb for The Saffron Pocket Loom.
Available accessories: Shed Comb for The Saffron Pocket Loom, Longer Rod For Saffron Pocket Loom
