This kit will make three 5.5" x 10" wedge weave tapestries with extra weft to spare. We recommend experimenting with size and colors after your first tapestry.
What else you need to begin:
-Any Mirrix Loom except the 5" Mini Mirrix (Note: If you want to use the Saffron Pocket Loom, 5" Chloe Pocket Loom or 8" Lani Loom, you can just make this tapestry 5" wide instead of 5.5)
-An 8 dent warp coil (this comes with most looms) OR a Saffron Pocket Loom (Shasta Combs will also work)
-A longer rod if you are using the Saffron Pocket Loom (Recommended but you can also make the piece shorter.)
-A good pair of scissors
-A measuring tape
-Heddles can be purchased separately if you plan to use the shedding device on a loom that has one (optional for this project.) The tutorial demonstrates weaving on a loom without the shedding device on it.
-If you are weaving on a loom larger than the 28" McKinley Loom, we recommend purchasing additional warp.
-A tapestry needle
-A tapestry beater (or fork)
