To celebrate 30 years of Mirrix Looms, we are hosting a contest focused on a central tenet of our business: Sharing a love of weaving.
Your mission: Teach someone to weave. This could mean a quick lesson for your daughter, a weekend of instruction for your best friend, a demonstration at an event or a morning at home with your husband so he finally understands the difference between warp and weft! This could be on a simple cardboard loom, your Mirrix or whatever else you have at your disposal.
We will be sharing select entries (credited to you, of course) on our website and social media pages!
How to Enter
Teach someone to weave. This could be a simple lesson or a series of more complex ones. It could be a commitment of a few minutes or several hours. Then, share with us about the experience and what lessons you learned about teaching or weaving.
Your entries can be written, photographs, videos or a combination of all three.
By entering, you agree to allow us to share your design on our website and social media, credited to you. If there is a certain way you'd like to be credited (for example C. Chase, or just with your first name) please let us know when you enter.
Winner Will Be Chosen Based On:
-Creativity (We're looking for creative lessons and creative ways to share about these lessons!)
-Originality (We want to hear real insight into how you share your love of weaving.)
-Quality (e.g. A well-written statement or a thoughtfully composed video.)
The Prize:
A 16” Big Sister Loom or $345 towards another Mirrix Loom

A winner will be announced by August 17th, 20026
