The Loom in Front of Me is an interview series that will begin in autumn 2026 produced by Mirrix Tapestry & Bead Looms. Elena Kawachi and Claudia Chase will interview bead and tapestry artists about their work, current trends, advice for new weavers and what changes they see coming for their mediums. The series looks to explore the wide variety of work that can be made on a simple frame loom and to discuss the motivation behind the work of talented fiber and bead artists from across the world.
